Michelle’s role as Practice Manager allows her to utilize over 30 years experience in
healthcare and business. She was a trained Surgical Technician early on in her career, working
as a private surgical assistant for 2 OB-GYN physicians in the Portland, Maine area. Her knowledge
of women’s healthcare covers office & clinical procedures, as well as surgical anatomy and
techniques. She developed and trained OB Nurses on correct techniques for emergency C-Sections
in the Labor & Delivery suite at the hospital she was affiliated with in Maine. She spent time
in northern Maine in the late 70’s running a surgical suite at a small community hospital.
Michelle returned to school in the early 80’s to pursue a college education and graduated cum
laude with a Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting. She passed the CPA boards and worked at
a large, international accounting firm, Altschuler, Melvoin & Glasser, LLC in downtown Chicago
for 2 years. Needing a more family friendly environment, she took a position at a mid-sized
accounting firm, Kessler, Orlean & Silver, in Niles, IL and broadened her knowledge with
corporate formations, business valuations, estate and tax planning.
Michelle’s experience has made her uniquely qualified to step into her role at Center for Reproductive
Health. She has a strong personal commitment to ensuring that patients who put their trust in CRH
will always feel that we are their biggest advocate.
Michelle lives in the western suburbs with her husband, Scott, and her two teenage
sons, Ian & Austin.
